Norway international Erling Haaland has been filmed appearing to use his mobile phone while driving a £300,000 Rolls Royce in the New Islington area of Manchester. The 25-year-old was stopped by police on Sunday night after driving the car for just over a mile on a busy road. Haaland was seen using his phone at the time of the incident, which is not allowed under UK law. The footballer has since been released on bail and is due to appear in court in January.\n

This is not the first time that Haaland has been in trouble with the law. The former Manchester City player was given a six-month driving ban in Norway in December after he was caught driving while under the influence of alcohol. Haaland has also been involved in two other incidents while driving, both of which resulted in him receiving fines.\n

The footballer is currently the captain of Norwegian side Odd Grenland and has played for Manchester City, Liverpool, Fulham and Odd Grenland.
