A top London fashion designer typically has their own personal stylist who will work with them to create the best look for each

Key Highlights :

1. Two hairstylists from Janet Maitland Hair Excellence in Hetton recently headed backstage at London Fashion Week.
2. They were picked to join the team working on designer, Edeline Lee’s show.
3. They joined Schwarzkopf Professional for the designer’s Autumn/Winter 2023 showcase.
4. Renowned for her structured, feminine womenswear, Edeline Lee counts Catherine, the Princess of Wales, amongst her fans – with Kate herself having a connection to Hetton through her ancestors who once worked in coal mines in the town.
5. Designer Edeline is known for her immersive presentations, and this season didn’t disappoint. Bringing to life the London Holiday collection, the designer employed dancers, musicians, actors and models to present her designs, with the fantasy world even including a fictional newspaper featuring the life stories of the cast.
6. Commenting on their experience, Lauren said: “Our manager, Peter, gave Sarah and I the opportunity to assist Schwarzkopf Professional for this show – and it was an amazing experience! We helped backstage as a team assisting with the hairstyling of the models, dancers, and musicians. During the fashion show, we were each assigned a model to look after for touch ups, so their hair was perfect for the press and photographers”.
7. Sarah added: “Being behind the scenes at London Fashion Week was spectacular.”
8. They will now be sharing their learnings from London Fashion Week with the rest of the salon team to ensure clients at Janet Maitland all get to experience a catwalk-worthy look at every appointment.
