     The Hurricanes will lose their forwards coach Chris Boyd, with Hansen preferring to have more influence over the training of the team's forwards. Boyd will be replaced by assistant coach Dane Coles, with the former All Blacks player set to have a bigger role in the team's coaching.

     The Reds will lose their head coach Ewen McKenzie, with Hansen preferring to have a more hands-on approach. McKenzie will be replaced by assistant coach Brad Thorn, with the former All Blacks player set to have a bigger role in the team's coaching.

     The Waratahs will lose their head coach Michael Cheika, with Hansen preferring to have a more hands-on approach. Cheika will be replaced by assistant coach Stephen Larkham, with the former All Blacks player set to have a bigger role in the team's coaching.
