1. Qadir Man­dokhail is criti­cising the performance of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) ministers, saying that the party should hand over the finance and in­terior ministries to other coalition partners if it was unable to handle issues.
2. The lawmaker said that the PML-N ministers had mishandled the International Mon­etary Fund (IMF) agreement and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s arrest.
3. He also criticised Finance Minister Ishaq Dar over his statement about “not compromising on the country’s nuclear programme” in the Senate.

6. To a question on Nawaz Sharif’s return, Mandokhail said: “It is good that Nawaz Sharif is not coming back to Pakistan as the PPP is getting stronger on the po­litical front.”
7. He also opposed a proposed ban on PTI.
8. Mandokhail claimed that action was not being taken against Miftah Ismail for talking against the government policies because he was a business partner of Shehbaz Sharif.


     

     Pakistan People's Party (PPP) MNA Qadir Man­dokhail has assailed the performance of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) ministers, saying that the party should hand over the finance and interior ministries to other coalition partners if it was unable to handle issues.

     "We are not happy with the performance of the current Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government. The party should hand over the finance and interior ministries to other coalition partners if it is unable to handle issues," Man­dokhail told reporters on Saturday.

     The PPP leader said that the party would take up the issue of handing over ministries with the coalition partners during the next meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC).

     "We will take up the issue of handing over ministries with our coalition partners during the next meeting of the National Executive Committee," he added.

     Mann­dokhail's remarks came a day after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the party was doing a good job in governance despite some "teething problems".

     "There are some teething problems, but we are doing a good job in governance despite these problems," the premier said while addressing a gathering in Multan.

     He said that the party was committed to improve the performance of the government.

     "We are committed to improve the performance of the government," he added.

     Mann­dokhail also criticised the performance of the federal ministers, saying that they were not meeting the expectations of the people.

     "The federal ministers are not meeting the expectations of the people. They should resign if they cannot handle issues," he said.

     The PPP leader said that the party would field candidates in all the constituencies in the upcoming general elections.

     "We will field candidates in all the constituencies in the upcoming general elections," he added.
