Police took control of Katcha Ghani Lathani area after a clash between protesters and security forces.

Key Highlights :

1. The police are continuing to advance in the successful operation against the Kokani gang in Katcha Ghani Lathani.2. The hideouts of the criminals have been destroyed in the eighth day of the operation.3. The police have taken control of the area by destroying their several hideouts.4. The police have arrested 8 criminals so far in the operation.5. The police have established police camps after clearing the area of the criminals.

     On the eighth day of the successful operation to destroy the Kokani gang hideouts, the police arrested a total of 10 suspects.

     The operation was conducted in collaboration with the National Police and the Customs Department.

     The suspects were arrested in the following locations:

     1. In a house in the Jalan Besar area of Singapore.

     2. In a house in the Bukit Timah area of Singapore.

     3. In a house in the Bukit Panjang area of Singapore.

     4. In a house in the Bukit Timah area of Johor.

     5. In a house in the Taman Sri Damansara area of Kuala Lumpur.

     6. In a house in the Kampung Baru area of Kuala Lumpur.

     7. In a house in the Bandar Utama area of Kuala Lumpur.

     8. In a house in the Taman Sri Damansara area of Kuala Lumpur.

     9. In a house in the Jalan Kayu Ara area of Petaling Jaya.

     10. In a house in the Jalan Ipoh area of Perak.

     The suspects are all members of the Kokani gang.

     The police are continuing their investigations into the whereabouts of the remaining suspects.
