Queen are teasing a new album 20 years after Freddie Mercury's death.

2. Freddie Mercury died in 1991 aged 45 and the band went on to dominate the charts in the '70s and '80s.

4. Brian May told US radio: “We have dabbled a little. It is just that you haven’t heard any of it. “It would have to be something so special that we would feel we would want to launch it on the public.”
5. While Adam himself added: “It’s a lot of pressure if you think about it. “If they’re going to put something out that’s new, it’s got to be at a certain level. It has to be the right thing. And I’ve always said, ‘Is it appropriate for me to be doing new material?’ I feel like it scares me.”


     Queen frontman Brian May has opened up about the possibility of recording brand new music as Queen alongside Roger Taylor and touring frontman Adam Lambert. Original star Freddie passed away in 1991, but May says the band is open to recording new music. "We're just looking at it as a possibility," May said. "It's something that we might do."

     May also says that he and Taylor have been working on new material together, and that they would like to tour in support of it. "We're just looking at it as a possibility," May said. "It's something that we might do."

     May and Taylor have collaborated on music in the past, most notably on the song 'We Will Rock You.' The two have also been working on a new album together. "We've been working on new material," May said. "It's been really good fun. We've been playing some of it live."

     Queen are currently in the middle of their 'Queen + Adam Lambert' tour.
