Resident Evil 4 Remake will include a free DLC pack that includes fan-favourite characters from the Resident Evil

Key Highlights :

1. The Resident Evil 4 remake released its free The Mercenaries DLC, which includes a "reimagined" original game mode that lets players take on enemy flocks in timed challenges, along with a perhaps less welcome addition: microtransactions.

2. You can now purchase Weapon Exclusive Upgrade Tickets, which provide access to "a weapon's exclusive upgrade at any time, regardless of the weapon's level."

3. These upgrade tickets are not limited to The Mercenaries DLC, which you can download now for an arcade-style, slaughterhouse challenge; they will be "available across all of your saved data," their Steam descriptions say.

4. Since RE4 is a single player game, I'm not particularly offended by this.

     The Mercenaries mode is a reimagining of the original game mode from Resident Evil 4. In this mode, players are tasked with completing objectives in different areas while fighting off hordes of enemies.

     One of the new features in The Mercenaries mode is the ability to upgrade your weapons. In order to do this, players must find and collect blueprints that are scattered throughout the levels.

     The Mercenaries mode is available for free on the Resident Evil 4 remake’s PC and console versions. However, for those who want to take on the challenge of completing all the objectives, the mode also offers paid weapon upgrades.

     The Resident Evil 4 remake is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
