-Sankata, APF registers wins in the market place -Sankata's unique selling proposition is

1. Sankata Club and Nepal APF Football Club recorded victories in the sixth round matches of the Martyrs Memorial A Division League here today. Sankata defeated newcomers Khumaltar Youth Club 1-0 at the ANFA Complex grounds. Junior Onguene Nkengue scored the solitary goal of the match in the first half and that was enough for Sankata to earn full three points. Nkengue found the back of the nets in the 27th minute. In another match at the Chyasal Stadium, APF beat fellow departmental side Nepal Police Club 2-0 riding on second-half goals from Hari Karki and substitute Sabin Gurung. After a goalless first half, Karki opened the scoring for APF in the 58th minute, while Gurung doubled the tally in the ninth minute of the injury time. Gurung had replaced Nabin Lama in the 90th minute. Sankata earned their second victory of the league and they moved to sixth position with nine points. Khumaltar are at the ninth position with six points from six matches. APF accumulated 10 points from six matches and they moved to fifth position, behind Jawalakhel Youth Club on inferior goal difference. NPC, who faced their fifth defeat, are at the bottom of the table with one point. The league resumed on Monday after a break of two weeks for the FIFA Day. Nepal hosted the Prime Minister Three Nations Cup from March 22-31 at the Dasharath Stadium and the home team won the title beating Laos 2-1 in final. On Tuesday, leaders Satdobato Youth Club will play against Jawalakhel Youth Club at the ANFA Complex grounds, while Church Boys United will take on New Road Team at the Chyasal Stadium.

     Sankata Club and Nepal APF Football Club recorded victories in the sixth round matches of the Martyrs Memorial A Division League here today.

     Sankata defeated newcomers Nepal APF 3-1 in their first match of the day. Lalitpur-based APF FC then beat Gorkha United 2-0. Later, Sankata edged out Nepal Police 3-2 and Nepal Army 3-1 to seal their spot in the semi-finals.

     In the semi-finals, Sankata will face Army Club, who beat Nepal Police 3-1 in the other semi-final match.
