The first Secret Invasion trailer shows Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Emilia Clark (Daenerys

Key Highlights :

1. Marvel and Disney have released the first trailer for their upcoming live-action MCU series, Secret Invasion.
2. The show stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, and Game Of Thrones alumni Emilia Clark as G’iah, Talos’s daughter.
3. The trailer sets a much darker tone than we’re used to seeing with the MCU, and shows Fury facing off against a new and frightening threat.
4. This is exactly what the MCU needs right now. Something darker and more intense and grounded than a lot of the recent shows and movies.
5. Frankly, the MCU has been doing its best to chase viewers away with drivel like She-Hulk. And even though Ant-Man 3 had its moments, overall it just felt unfocused.
6. This new story of a secret invasion of shapeshift Skrulls looks far better than anything Marvel’s given us for a long time.
7. And, of course, you can never have too much Samuel L. Jackson—or Ben Mendelsohn for that matter.

Marvel and Disney just dropped the first trailer for the upcoming live-action MCU series Secret Invasion. It's intense, dark and exactly what the MCU needs right now as it struggles in Phase 5.

The series will follow the events of Secret Wars, in which the Marvel heroes were forced to team up with the villains in order to stop a mysterious alien threat. The trailer shows off some intense action, with Spider-Man and Iron Man fighting alongside Doctor Doom and the Winter Soldier.

This is definitely the kind of series the MCU needs right now. It's dark and intense, and it'll give fans a lot to look forward to as Phase 5 struggles to find its footing.
