     "I think Parveen Babi and I were unfairly compared to one another in the 70s. We were very different actors. He was a very expressive actor, and I was more of a method actor. I think people were expecting too much of me because Parveen Babi was such a popular actor. But I think I acquitted myself well."

     Zeenat Aman was born on October 9, 1941 in the city of Lahore in Punjab, India. She started her career in the early 1960s, and quickly became one of the most popular and successful actors in India. Her breakthrough role came in the 1970 film, Waqt, which won her international acclaim. She went on to appear in many successful films throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including Awaara, Dushman, and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
