How Cameron Munster is Aiming to Reach the Top Echelon of Players in the Game
Key Highlights :
Cameron Munster is a pretty aggressive bloke who is not afraid to target his injuries in order to take his game to the next level. The Maroons five-eighth recently revealed that he had been playing with rib cartilage damage, a fractured rib and a hyper-extension of the elbow. Despite this, he is still expected to be a target for the NSW forwards in the series opener in Adelaide on May 31.
Munster won the Wally Lewis Medal as player of the Origin series in 2020 and was man of the match in Queensland’s win in Game One last year. He has dominated in Origin and club football, and for the Melbourne Storm. However, the 28-year-old believes he still has improvement to make to be regarded in the top echelon of players in the game, in particular with his decision making and defence.
Munster’s elbow injury was caused by his old Melbourne teammates Felise Kaufusi and Kenny Bromwich but he said “it’s good” now. He believes that if he can be more consistent in his decision making, he can elevate himself into the calibre of players such as James Tedesco, Nathan Cleary and JT (Johnathan Thurston).
Munster is not afraid to put his body on the line in order to reach his goals. He is aware that he will be targeted by the NSW forwards but he is determined to take it in his stride and use it as an opportunity to improve. He believes that if he can control the game more and be less erratic, he can reach the top echelon of players in the game.
Munster has already proven himself to be a great player and he is now aiming to take his game to the next level. He is not afraid of the challenges that he may face and he is determined to use them to reach his goals. With his aggressive attitude and determination, there is no doubt that he will be able to reach the top echelon of players in the game.
