     Siddharth, the Tamil actor who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Takkar, recently opened up about why he quit Twitter in early 2022. After voicing his opinion on several issues, Siddharth felt that he received no support from fellow actors and decided to leave the platform. In a recent interview, Siddharth revealed that he felt like he was the only one speaking out against the “evils in the world” and questioned why no other celebrities were speaking up.

     The actor received a lot of backlash after responding to a tweet of badminton player Saina Nehwal on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security breach in Punjab. Following his reply to Saina’s tweet, Siddharth decided to quit Twitter and hasn’t returned so far on the platform.

     Siddharth also spoke about his upcoming projects and said that he was blessed to have been considered for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. He will be seen playing Kamal Haasan character’s grandson in the upcoming film. He also has Takkar releasing in cinemas this week.
