Get Ready for 2024: Pixar Drops Teaser Trailer for Family-Friendly Sci-Fi Fantasy "Elio"
Key Highlights :

It's been a great year for big screen animation tentpoles, with Dreamworks' "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" and Universal Illumination's "The Super Mario Brothers Movie" both receiving huge box office numbers worldwide. Disney/Pixar has been relatively quiet of late, but they're now gearing up for their next family-friendly sci-fi feature, "Elio," slated for a 2024 release.
The movie introduces Elio (voiced by Yonas Kibreab), a young boy with an active imagination who finds himself beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide. Mistakenly identified as Earth's ambassador to the rest of the universe, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms and survive a series of formidable trials.
Directed by Adrian Molina (co-director of "Coco") and produced by Mary Alice Drumm (associate producer of "Coco"), "Elio" also features America Ferrera as Elio's mom, Olga, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa, and Brad Garrett as Ambassador Grigon. With its precocious kid star, striking visuals, and outer space premise that plays on the age-old sci-fi catch phrase, "Take Me To Your Leader," "Elio" is sure to be a hit with children of all ages.
The movie is set to arrive in theaters on March 1, 2024. Until then, check out the teaser trailer for a glimpse of Elio's intergalactic adventure!
