Nathan Lyon's Emotional Tribute to Shane Warne Ahead of Ashes 2023

Ahead of the upcoming Test series against England, Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon paid an emotional tribute to Warne, who passed away due to a massive cardiac arrest in Koh Samui, Thailand on March 4, 2022.
Speaking to ESPNCricinfo, Lyon said that Warne will be missed during the Ashes 2023 and that the cricketing world will feel the sadness of not hearing his voice. He further added that as Australian cricketers and spinners, they will do their best to make Warne proud.
Warne had a remarkable career for Australia, having played 145 Tests and 194 ODIs, taking 708 Test wickets and 293 ODI scalps. He was also a tactical genius, as evidenced by his success as the captain of the Rajasthan Royals, who won the inaugural Indian Premier League (IPL) under his leadership in 2008. Warne was also successful in first-class cricket, finishing with 1319 wickets in 301 matches.
