     Sekhukhune United are set for a squad shake-up ahead of their maiden appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup next season. Last season, the club signed close to 25 players and their new signings list has now stretched over 50 players. The new arrivals included Sibusiso Vilakazi, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Mzwanele Mahashe, Philani Zulu, Given Mashikinya, Daniel Cardoso, Tashrique Morris, Ali Badra Sangare, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Sammy Seabi, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Thamsanqa Masiya, Victor Letsoalo, Denwin Farmer, Linda Mntambo, Elias Mokwana, Katlego Mkhabela, Tshepo Mokhabi, Tlotliso Phatsisi, Wonderboy Nakhubu, Abednego Mosiatlhaga, Tresor Yamba, Elias Mokwana, Ntokozo Mtsweni, Willard Katsande, Justice Chabalala, Toaster Nsabata, Charlton Mashumba, Tshediso Patjie, Seun Ledwaba, Vusimuzi Mncube, Ryan de Jongh, Nicholus Lukhubeni, Thabo Rakhale, Roderick Kabwe, Evans Rusike, Nyiko Mobbie, Talent Chawapiwa, Justin Shonga, Edwin Gyimah, Cheslyn Jampies, Pogiso Mahlangu, Tumelo Matona, Rowen Van Vuuren, Kamohelo Sithole, Senzo Nkwanyana, Blessing Sarupinda, Katlego Cwinyane, Luckyboy Mokoena, Seth Parusnath, Sibusiso Hlubi, and Katlego Molaba.

     Sekhukhune will be retaining both mid-season signings Vilakazi and Mokotjo after they impressed. However, Nsabata is on his way out with Washington Arubi being brought to compete with Sangare who has permanent residence issues to sort out. Nsabata dropped from being the first choice in his first season when he played 26 games and stood ahead of Tapuwa Kapini and Ayanda Dlamini to a largely supportive role last season. The Zambian was forced to the bench by Sangare last season with the Ivorian guarding the posts in 24 games while Nsabata was only used in 10 games.

     Yamba, Mahashe, Farmer, Zulu, Madonsela and Mashikinya are also facing uncertainty at the club, while Mabasa will go back to Pirates having scored only twice. Sekhukhune reached the final of the Nedbank Cup and will be playing in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

     The club will be looking to make the necessary changes to their squad to ensure they are well prepared for the upcoming season.
