SEO Friendly Article: Aston Villa are reportedly leading the race to sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, with PSG 'rejecting' the chance to move for the forward. Felix is looking for a new club after his loan move to Chelsea didn't go to plan, and with Atletico Madrid wanting to recoup as much of the £113million transfer fee as possible, it's proving hard to find suitors.

According to Football Espana, PSG are the latest side to pull out of a deal, though Unai Emery's Villa could still be interesting in taking Felix back to the Premier League. Felix had a loan spell at Chelsea last season but scored just four goals in 20 games for the Blues, and with Chelsea opting against making a permanent move for the forward, he is now free to look for opportunities elsewhere.

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone doesn't appear to be keen to give Felix minutes this season, after a fall out between the two before Felix's move to Chelsea. As a result, Madrid are trying to recoup a decent fee for the Portugal star, though another loan could be an option.

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is in the market for a forward to provide competition for Ollie Watkins, and Felix could be a good fit. The forward was spotted training with Madrid's academy on their first day of pre-season earlier this week as he targets a move away.

It's possible Felix could leave Atletico on another loan deal, and Aston Villa could be potential suitors. However, with Atletico Madrid wanting to recoup as much of the £113million transfer fee as possible, it's proving hard to find suitors to try and make the move happen.
