Located in North Lincolnshire, this Michelin Star restaurant has been delighting diners for five consecutive years and recently underwent a refurbishment to offer a truly unique experience.
At Winteringham Fields, guests will be welcomed with a warm smile and an optional glass of champagne, before being taken past the ageing cabinet. Here, one of the talented chefs will use a beautiful map of the British Isles to explain where the carefully selected ingredients have come from. Guests will then be taken into the kitchen, where they can meet chef Gareth Bartram and his sous chef and enjoy another small snack.
The restaurant itself is a feast for all the senses, with a perfect view of the kitchen and the ability to enjoy six or eight servings of exquisite food. Some dishes will even be finished off at the table, with an explanation of what you're about to enjoy. All of the ingredients used are locally sourced and seasonal, ensuring that guests are able to enjoy a truly unique dining experience.
In the summer months, guests can even enjoy their arrival snacks and drinks al fresco on the terrace, while taking in the spectacular views of the grounds. The menu is packed full of flavour, with dishes such as BBQ chicken tacos, hand-dived scallops, Exmoor caviar, and a Winteringham Fields 'solero' with mango, passion fruit, coconut and basil.
To make the experience even more special, guests can book a room at Winteringham Fields. There are four elegantly decorated king and double rooms in the Main House, boasting original oak beams and all of life’s little luxuries. The Courtyard also offers luxuriously appointed suites and super king-sized beds, as well as walk-in showers and a peaceful location.
After a restful night, guests can enjoy a continental or cooked breakfast in the restaurant before heading down to the WF farm for a guided tour. Here, they can see where a number of ingredients on their plate came from.
