Speaking of his new relationship, Scott told The Sun: "Life feels really good right now and we are enjoying some special time together." A source added: "His and Barbara's friends are delighted he's found someone to share his life with. It's fairly early days but Scott is cautiously now looking forward to the future."
Tanya Franks is best known for her role as Rainie Cross in EastEnders, which she played on and off between 2007 and 2022. Barbara Windsor was a much-loved character in the soap, first appearing in 1991 as the Queen Vic landlady Peggy Mitchell. Tanya and Barbara had a friendship outside of the show and Scott and Tanya are believed to have first bonded in 2019 while they trained for the London Marathon.
The EastEnders gang – known as Bab's Army – ran the marathon to raise money for dementia charities and this year, they ran for Alzheimer's Research UK. Scott and Tanya are said to be taking things slowly, but there's "so much friendship and respect" between them.
