Balochistan CM Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Condemns Indian State Atrocities in IIOJK

     August 5th marks a dark day in the history of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). This day serves as a reminder of the humiliation that the people of IIOJK were subjected to four years ago. On this day, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo issued a statement condemning the Indian state atrocities in IIOJK.

     The Chief Minister said that the series of Indian state atrocities on IIOJK continues as a result of which hundreds of thousands of innocent Kashmiris have been martyred. He further said that extremists are being settled by taking away the lands of Kashmiris and efforts are being made to convert the majority of Muslims into a minority. The lives of Kashmiris are being made miserable, he said, and asked the global community to take notice of the oppression and cruelty of the Indian state institutions.

     The Chief Minister also called upon the global community to take note of the United Nations resolution which states that Kashmiris should be given their right to self-determination. He also stated that the people of Balochistan fully support the just right of self-determination of Kashmiris and will continue to raise its voice at every forum against state oppression in IIOJK.

     The people of IIOJK have been subjected to immense suffering and oppression in the past four years. It is time for the international community to take notice of the human rights violations in IIOJK and to take measures to ensure that the people of IIOJK are given their right to self-determination. The people of Balochistan will continue to stand in solidarity with the people of IIOJK in their struggle for justice and freedom.
