Book Your Christmas Delivery Now with Asda – Get Slots Open from Next Week

As the holiday season approaches, Asda has announced that shoppers can pre-book their festive food delivery slots as early as next week. From Tuesday, October 3, Asda’s Delivery Pass members can reserve their grocery delivery or click and collect slots online at Asda.com or via the Asda app. All other Asda customers can book their slots from Tuesday, October 10, two weeks earlier than in 2022.
The move to open slots earlier than ever comes as insight from Asda’s Income Tracker shows that despite improvements in inflation figures, disposable income continues to fall for 60% of UK households compared to the same time last year, with the lowest earning households shaving a deficit of £72 in disposable income per week.
Simon Gregg, Senior Vice President of Ecommerce said: “We know that customers are thinking about ways they can spread the cost of Christmas this year, so to help these shoppers get a head start with preparations we’re releasing our delivery slots earlier than ever, and with over one million slots available in Christmas week we’re confident that shoppers will be able to secure their preferred delivery slot.”
When slots open, shoppers can also take advantage of Asda’s turkey pre-order service which gives them the chance to reserve their Christmas dinner showpiece, up to two months in advance - with 12 different turkeys on offer. Shoppers will need to add their chosen turkey to their basket before December 14 to ensure it is delivered ahead of the big day.
The minimum online spend at Asda is £40 for delivery and £25 for click and collect. Following a successful pilot in 2022, Asda will also be offering deliveries on Christmas eve this year. Bookings for Christmas Eve however will only be available from Monday, December 20.
Asda has an extensive range of festive food and drink items available for customers to choose from. With 275 new lines launching for 2023, customers can find everything they need for the perfect Christmas dinner.
