Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, will make a rare public appearance on Tuesday night as part of a panel set to speak in front of 250 Spurs fans. The Fans Forum will be the first of its kind since Mauricio Pochettino was at the helm and will include current head coach Ange Postecoglou, newly appointed captain Son Heung-min, women’s head coach Robert Vilahamn and newly appointed women’s captain Bethany England.

This appearance by Levy comes at a tumultuous time for the club, with protests over ticket prices occurring before last month’s win against Manchester United and the departure of Fabio Paratici, the club’s director of football, in April. Levy also sanctioned the sale of record goal-scorer Harry Kane in August. Despite these setbacks, Spurs have enjoyed an excellent start to the season under Postecoglou.

Earlier this month, Levy attended a Fan Advisory Board meeting with members from Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, Spurs REACH and Proud Lilywhites. During the two-hour-long meeting, Levy was asked by THST representative Steve Cavalier what success looks like for the club and how is it measured. Levy replied that the most important thing for the club is to be a highly competitive team that wins and entertains fans. He added that the focus now is to optimize investments and drive revenues that enable the club to reinvest in players and create a winning club.

Levy also provided an insight into potential plans for the women’s team this season with scope to host more matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium due to the men’s side only having Premier League commitments until January. He stated that the women’s team is a long-term project and that while it currently loses a lot of money, it is a way of engaging a new fanbase with an initial goal to challenge for the top-six in the Women’s Super League.

Tuesday’s Fans Forum will be a 90-minute Q&A session in front of 250 Tottenham supporters selected by a ballot. Spurs director Donna Marie-Cullen also revealed that a “full ticketing review” was in hand. This will be an opportunity for Tottenham supporters to quiz the club’s long-serving chairman following a tumultuous 12-month period.

This rare public appearance by Levy is sure to be a memorable one for the 250 Spurs fans in attendance. It will be a chance for fans to hear from Levy and the rest of the panel on their plans for the future of the club and to ask questions about the decisions that have been made in the past year.
