Of these, one eatery received a five out of five hygiene rating, and four received a three out of five rating. Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and the management of food safety, the FSA has provided new ratings to five of Bolton’s establishments.

     Westhoughton Golf Club

     Westhoughton Golf Club, located at Long Island Off School Street, Westhoughton, Bolton, was awarded the maximum score of five out of five after assessment on August 29. The inspection report states that the eatery is good in all areas.

     Market Hotel

     Market Hotel, located at 11-15 Brackley Street, Farnworth, Bolton, was awarded a three out of five rating after assessment on August 1. The inspection report states that all areas of the eatery are generally satisfactory.

     Taylor's Treats

     Taylor's Treats, located at 56 Higher Market Street, Farnworth, Bolton, was awarded a three out of five rating after inspection on August 3. The inspection report states that the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.

     Village Pizza

     Village Pizza, located at 85 High Street, Little Lever, Bolton, was awarded a three out of five rating after inspection on August 3. The inspection report states that the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory, whilst the hygienic food handling is good.

     Zapata

     Finally, Zapata, a takeaway located at 564 Bury Road, Bolton, was awarded a three out of five rating after assessment on August 5. The inspection report states that all areas of the eatery are generally satisfactory.

     These five new food hygiene ratings demonstrate that Bolton has a variety of eateries that meet the standards set out by the FSA.
