Bills Edge-Rusher Von Miller Active for Sunday's Game Against Jaguars, Shaq Lawson Out
Key Highlights :

The Buffalo Bills will have their all-time active sacks leader, Von Miller, on the field for their Sunday matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, defensive end Shaq Lawson will not be available due to a toe injury. Miller was activated from the reserve-physically unable-to-perform list on Saturday and will be looking to make an impact in his first game since injuring his knee last November.
In addition to Lawson, the Bills will also be without starting defensive end Greg Rousseau, who is out with a foot injury, and cornerback Christian Benford, who is inactive due to a shoulder injury. This comes after the team lost cornerback Tre’Davious White to a torn right Achilles tendon last week. Safety Damar Hamlin is also inactive, after playing in his first regular-season game last week, some nine months after having a near-death experience on the field at Cincinnati.
The Jaguars will have left tackle Cam Robinson, wide receiver Zay Jones, and return specialist Jamal Agnew, who were all expected to be active. Jacksonville’s inactives are wide receiver Elijah Cooks, cornerback Christian Braswell, linebacker Devin Lloyd and offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen. Additionally, wide receiver Parker Washington was placed on the reserve/injured list Saturday due to a knee injury.
Veteran edge rusher Dawuane Smoot, who returned to practice this week, remains on the physically unable to perform list. He sustained a torn Achilles tendon last December. Sunday’s game between the Bills and Jaguars will be an important one for both teams, as they look to gain an edge in the AFC standings. With Miller and other key players on both sides of the ball active, it should be an exciting matchup.
