It's Fair to Say Strictly Fans Were Unimpressed as Nigel Harman and Katya Jones Didn't Have Their Best Week

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming on behalf of Nigel Harman as they claimed he was 'stitched up' during week three of the BBC One dance contest. The Casualty actor was back in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 7) with his professional dance partner Katya Jones, who have already been picked out as winners of the 2023 series by viewers.
The couple opened the show's annual Movie Week spectacle with a Batman-inspired jive, both dressed in capes as they danced around the ballroom. As they finished their jive to Batman Theme, Anton Du Beke described it as a "wonderful way to open the show", but Craig Revel Horwood said it was a "little flat of foot for my liking". He did, however, add hat Nigel "did a beautiful pirhouette which takes some skill" before the judges scored him a total of 25.
When asked about his outfit, Nigel said: "I wanted the really cool sexy one and I got the one in tights." It appears Strictly fans were unimpressed with Nigel's outfit, and the song choice for his routine, claiming he had been 'stitched up' and the combination did him a 'diservice'.

Done a massive disservice being given that music for a jive." @danielkildufff added: "I feel for Nigel am not gonna lie, dancing the jive to a Batman theme was always gonna be tough, and I was right. I kind of feel he as been a bit stitched up to be honest, he is worth so much more then that."
The couple's performance left Strictly viewers unimpressed, as they believed Nigel and Katya had been given an unfair disadvantage due to their song choice and costume. It's fair to say that the pair didn't have their best week, and viewers have shown their support for Nigel and Katya, hoping that they will be able to show their true potential in future weeks.
